Listing is usually the most labor intensive part of reselling. You've already done the fun work: sourcing the item; the physical work, cleaning it and inspecting it; and the math deciding it's worth your time. Celerly's eBay export takes that work and turns it into a ready-to-upload CSV file. Then you're able to finish up the listings within eBay, like taking photos and setting shipping and return policies. But you're not worrying about transferring so much information from scratch.
What gets filled in for you #
When you export, Celerly automatically fills in:
- Photo — your item photo, pulled straight from what you already took in the app. Your photo has a 30-day timestamp for eBay to access it and load it into there system. It's a great visual reference for you when taking photos.

How to use it #
- Tag it. On the Edit Item screen, mark the item "eBay" under Listed On. Only items tagged this way show up in the export — so your Etsy-only or website-only pieces stay out of it.
- Set your Category ID. Look up the eBay category number for the batch you're exporting (a quick search at pages.ebay.com/sellerinformation will get you there). Export one category at a time — this keeps every item in the batch correctly matched.
- Export. One tap, and Celerly builds a file formatted for eBay's Draft Listings upload.
- Upload to eBay. Head to Seller Hub Reports and upload the file. Your drafts will be waiting at Seller Hub Drafts.
Finishing up on eBay #
A handful of things are genuinely yours to set — shipping method, return policy, and any store-specific categories — because these are unique to your account and your preferences. eBay's own tools are the right place to handle them, and once they're set up, they'll apply automatically to future listings too.
A couple of tips #
- Start small. Export a batch of 5–10 items first and walk through the upload so you know exactly what to expect before you run 50 or 100 through it.
- One category per export. Mixing categories in a single batch means some items will land in the wrong place — exporting by category keeps everything clean.
Once you've done it a time or two, this becomes the fastest part of your listing process — not the slowest.
