During the 14-day free trial there are no limits. If you choose to remain on the Celerly Basic or Celerly Pro plan, there are no limits.* However if you choose to default to the free plan, there is a 100 item cap. We don’t delete your items if you’ve gone over the 100 item cap but to add new items you’ll need to remove enough to get below the cap, or upgrade to a paid plan. 

* Like everything…there are limits…a 30,000 item baseball card collection? Let’s talk. This product is still in Beta so we’re developing features but there are likely better tools out there for this type of inventory. We currently are not capping items but do monitor system load.

Yes, there are many ways  you can tailor the Crunch it! Calculator to your specific resell business. First, by default we assume the eBay marketplace in our, “bite” calculation. This is because eBay is one of the higher fee platforms. Change the numbers under your own personal preferences. It doesn’t back update but going forward any new Crunch it! will use your new numbers. 

It’s good to keep in mind…the Crunch it! Calculator is a guide. You ultimately decide what to buy and sell. That’s what makes this business fun. The goal of the Crunch it! Calculator is simply to give pause. Let you see the numbers…see if they meet  your threshold (another number you can adjust in your preferences.)

Celerly is delivered as a Software-as-a-Service model because it allows you to have regular improvements, have your information store in the cloud, and to not worry about all the costs associated having a mobile tool on your phone. This model does have costs however, in the form of storage and maintenance. So a monthly fee is the only way to keep the operating, and add free. 

You can use Celerly for free up to 100 items in your inventory. For those just getting started, this can be a nice way to build an inventory system into your business without having a regular monthly expense. The goal with Celerly is to also help build quality inventory as one of the critical components of managing a death pile.

Celerly is actively being developed by Nate Sullivan, a designer and developer with over twenty years experience in the web design and development space, and also a fellow reseller on eBay, Etsy and WooCommerce (WordPress). He created Celerly to help tackle a 2,000+ item death pile and is still actively in the throws of catching up. He knows what it feels like to try and wrangle an inventory mess. He’s also old enough to remember his first inventory software…a database spreadsheet in 1990 for his mom…looking up retail prices in the JC Penny catalog. The one thing you can know for certain…Nate likes software and apps that just work, and will do everything he can to make this a fast, seamless app. 

Celerly was built off the idea that inventory intake should be easy and fun, so everything works from the photo forward. No bar code scanning. No silly AI suggestions on what to buy or pass. Take a photo of something that catches your eye. Do a little research like eBay sold comps and Google Lens through the app, and decide whether it’s worth your time. If it is, buy it! It’s now part of your inventory. (And just to be clear…the buying doesn’t happen through Celerly.) 

This workflow is customized for the everything reseller, but it can work just as well for the specialist. And it could work for the home inventorist, the artist, the catalogist…really anyone that wants an inventory of their stuff.
